The foundation for today's patrons Humanitas was founded in 1997 by the then placed in "The Gambia" working Christoph Umbricht by the construction of a first school building in Kunkujang. In the following two years, several Europeans living in Africa, the school building have continued. On 15 August 1998 the registration of the association Humanitas in the commercial register. The aim of the association, is useful projects in the developing world to promote financial as well as staffing and managing change.
